You agree to notify us immediately upon suspecting any unauthorized use of your account or any breach of security. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether authorized or unauthorized, and that we cannot be held liable for losses arising from your failure to protect your credentials.
4. Use of Services
Cidentia grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services strictly in accordance with these Terms. You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to those related to data privacy, financial transactions, and intellectual property. You further agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities while using our platform:
- Engaging in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the normal functioning of the Services or the servers or networks connected to the Services, including but not limited to denial-of-service (DoS) attacks or other cyberattacks.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform, other users’ accounts, or any computer systems or networks connected to the Services.
- Uploading, posting, or transmitting any content or material that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, invasive of privacy, or otherwise objectionable or offensive.
- Using the Services to impersonate any person or entity, or to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organization.
- Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive the source code of the platform or any part thereof.
- Using any automated means or software bots to access, scrape, or collect data from the Services without prior authorization from Cidentia.
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate legal or technical action against anyone who violates these rules, including the removal of offending content, suspension or termination of accounts, and reporting to law enforcement or regulatory authorities as appropriate.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights related to the Cidentia platform, including but not limited to software code, graphics, logos, trademarks, trade secrets, patents, and proprietary content, are owned exclusively by Cidentia or our licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in our intellectual property except for the limited license to access and use the Services as expressly granted herein. Unauthorized copying, modification, distribution, or use of our intellectual property may result in legal penalties. You agree not to use our trademarks, logos, or brand assets without our prior written consent.
6. User-Generated Content
Cidentia may allow you to submit, upload, post, or otherwise share content or information ("User Content") including but not limited to identity details, profile data, or other related materials. You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold in your User Content. However, by submitting User Content, you grant Cidentia a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify,

We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cidentia and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of or inability to use the Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cidentia and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause or notice, including if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms or engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful conduct. Upon termination, your right to use the Services immediately ceases. 12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Cidentia is incorporated, without regard to conflict of laws principles. You agree that any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration conducted in accordance with the rules of a recognized arbitration body, unless prohibited by law. The arbitration shall take place in the designated jurisdiction, and the language of arbitration shall be English. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property or confidential information.
13. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, such provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect. The failure of Cidentia to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by Cidentia, constitute the entire agreement between you and Cidentia concerning the use of the Services and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.

4.1 Blockchain-Specific Terms and Conditions
Cidentia leverages blockchain technology to provide decentralized digital identity and wallet services. By using our platform, you acknowledge and accept the following conditions specific to blockchain technology:
- User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for safeguarding your private keys, passwords, and any other credentials used to access your blockchain wallet. Loss, theft, or unauthorized disclosure of these credentials may result in permanent loss of access to your assets or identity data, and Cidentia will not be liable for such losses.
- Irreversible Transactions: Blockchain transactions are immutable and cannot be reversed once confirmed. You must ensure that transaction details are correct before submission. Cidentia is not responsible for any errors or unintended transactions made through your wallet.
- Non-Custodial Service: Cidentia acts as a platform facilitating your interaction with blockchain networks but does not custody, hold, or control your cryptocurrency or digital assets. You acknowledge that all assets are under your direct control.
- Smart Contract Risks: Some functionalities may rely on third-party smart contracts. These contracts are autonomous and cannot be modified or controlled by Cidentia. You accept the risks of smart contract bugs, exploits, or failures.
- Regulatory Compliance: You agree to comply with all applicable local laws and regulations related to blockchain use, cryptocurrencies, and digital identities. Cidentia reserves the right to enforce compliance measures such as KYC/AML procedures when required.
- Technology Risks: You understand that blockchain technology is rapidly evolving and may experience vulnerabilities, network failures, forks, or other technical issues that could impact the Services.
4.2 Usage Fees and Payments
Certain features or services provided by Cidentia may require payment of fees or subscriptions. These fees may include, but are not limited to, transaction fees, premium service subscriptions, or fees related to the issuance and management of digital identities or tokens on the blockchain.
- Fee Disclosure: All applicable fees will be clearly disclosed before you incur any charges. You agree to pay all fees associated with your use of the Services as described at the time of purchase or subscription.
- Payment Methods: Payments may be accepted in fiat currency, cryptocurrency, or tokens issued by Cidentia or affiliated networks, as specified on the platform.
- Transaction Fees: Some blockchain operations, such as transactions or smart contract executions, may require network gas fees or other blockchain-related costs. These fees are set by the blockchain network and are not controlled or collected by Cidentia. You are solely responsible for paying these fees.
- Refund Policy: Fees are generally non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise. Refund eligibility and procedures will be outlined at the time of purchase.
- Fee Changes: Cidentia reserves the right to change fees or introduce new fees at any time, with prior notice to users. Continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new fees.

- Limitations: Participation in governance does not guarantee any specific outcome or decision. Cidentia retains final authority to implement changes to the platform or its services in accordance with applicable laws and business needs.
- Risks: Governance tokens or participation may be subject to market risks, including volatility and loss of value. Cidentia is not responsible for any financial losses arising from governance activities.
- Eligibility: Only users who meet eligibility requirements, including compliance with local regulations and holding the necessary tokens, may participate in governance activities.
